A Tradition is Established
S.A.I.L.'s 3rd Annual Thanks and Giving Service was held on November 17th, 2016 at St. Patrick's Episcopal Church. The service included music, interfaith prayer, and perspectives from Buddhism, Judaism, Christianity, and Islam on the themes of gratitude and giving.
Perspectives on Jesus Panel was a Success!
175 people attended The Jesus of Islam with Jewish and Christian Perspectives: An Interactive Panel Discussion on Sunday, October 18, 2015 at First Community Church-North Campus.
Dr. Zeki Saritoprak, Associate Professor and Chair of Islamic Studies in the Department of Theology and Religious Studies at John Carroll University presented information about Islam's perspective on Jesus.
Mr. Manfred Luttinger of Congregation Beth Tikvah and Rev. Dr. Stephen Smith of St. Patrick's Episcopal Church responded with Jewish and Christian perspectives. Rev. Dr. Deborah Lindsay of First Community Church moderated the panel discussion.
